5. SMS/TEXT MESSAGING TERMS – A2P COMPLIANCE

5.1 Business Identity and Message Types

Simple Ministry sends two types of text messages to subscribers who have provided explicit consent:

Marketing Messages: You may receive promotional content about our Church Connex platform, Ministry Imprint assessments, coaching services, leadership workshops, training resources, special offers, events, webinars, ministry tips, and other ministry-related information.

Non-Marketing Messages: You may receive appointment confirmations and reminders, calendar booking confirmations, assessment results, service updates, account notifications, payment confirmations, and customer support communications related to your use of our Services.

5.2 Consent Requirements

By providing your phone number and checking the appropriate consent boxes, you are providing your express written consent to receive SMS messages from Simple Ministry. You understand and agree that:

  • Consent is completely voluntary and optional
  • Consent is NOT a condition of purchasing or using our Services
  • You can choose to receive marketing messages, non-marketing messages, both, or neither
  • You must manually check consent boxes – they are never pre-selected
  • Each type of message requires separate consent
  • You can opt out at any time without penalty

5.3 Message Frequency and Costs

Message Frequency:

  • Marketing messages: Approximately 2-8 messages per month
  • Non-marketing messages: Varies based on your activity and scheduled appointments
  • Frequency may vary depending on your interactions with our Services

Costs: As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive messages according to the frequency described above. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

The number of messages you receive will depend on the services you use and your level of engagement. We respect your time and will never send excessive messages.

5.4 How to Opt-Out (STOP)

You can cancel the SMS service at any time.

To unsubscribe from SMS messages:

  • Simply text “STOP” to the phone number from which you received the message
  • After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed
  • After this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us
  • If you want to join again, simply sign up as you did the first time, and we will start sending SMS messages to you again

Opting out of one message type (marketing or non-marketing) does not automatically opt you out of the other type. To stop all messages, you must opt out of each type separately or contact us directly.

5.5 How to Get Help (HELP)

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program:

  • Reply with the keyword “HELP” for more assistance
